While it is certainly possible to do this within AutoCAD, many companies have invested
in high end package design tools such as Xynetix Encore BGA and Cadence Advanced Package
Designer. It would be ideal if one could transfer the entire package shell intelligently to one of these programs to do routing, DRC and manufacturing output. With our FA3ST script generators you can do this.

FA3ST includes a script generator
that automatically creates scripts for the ball array, die, power and ground rings, fiducials,
solder mask, bond fingers and wire bonds.

User Interface
To start the script generator just use the FA3ST pulldown and select:
Then check off the scripts you wish to generate. Each script is a simple ASCII file that can be sent to Encore BGA. Using the Import Script function you then transfer the information intelligently into Encore.
