Droplet generation has been optimized by removing unnecessary placement checking.

Droplet Placement Optimization

Speed of the Edge Rasterizer was greatly improved.
Checking outer droplets was redundant so it has been removed.
Finding voids is now using striping and multithreading.

Pitch Settings.

Pitch is no longer expressed in percent values. Both Gbrvu's Edge Rasterizer GUI and the independent GUI have been altered to this effect.

Round flashes to Droplet.

Added mode for dropping single droplet pads for features smaller than a specified threshold. Both the Gbrvu Edge Rasterizer tool and the independent Edge Rasterizer shell were revised to control this.

Exceptions generated from tiff output.

There were exceptions generated from tiff output of an entire file, 132-233-91 l7p.gbr. This was caused by insufficient precision in unionizing droplets. This has now been fixed.

Narrow path.

A change was made to handle paths which are close to the dot size in width. Extra droplets were appearing under these conditions. This has now been fixed.

Note: In version 1.17, all interior filling is done with staggering placement of droplets. This was done to ensure consistency in the filling density. This fixes the problem illustrated in results 1 described in ER Strip File Section of Artwork_ver115_feedback_13th_010909.pdf file.

Fixing issue with Filling between Interior and Outer Edge.

The method of interior filling has changed. There is the additional filling to cover the area between the interior and outer edge. However, it may or may not affect the flatness of top side, i.e., the ink density because the amount of ink coverage in outer edge is smaller than the ink coverage of the interior.

Higher Density on the Neck

This issue was fixed.

Different Superposition Ratio

Additional droplets caused the superposition ratio, e.g., nominal pitch is higher than 30% and 40%.
It may affect the line/space tolerance and the flatness of top side, i.e., the ink density.This issue was fixed.

GBRVU 3.12A Edge Rasterizer Enhancement

Added "Min Void Area" Settings - this allows the user to define a minimum value so voids will be smaller than this value.

Problems fixed

Problems fixed in this version are:
Line space distortion.
The number of droplets issue.
Unfilled area in circles was fixed.

Change edge raster GUI

Added dialog controls displaying the "Notch Depth" and "Pitch Bounds" in relation to the current raster settings. These controls are updated for the following events:
When the dialog box comes up.
When the nominal pitch is toggled between the unit and percent input.
When the Units are changed in the GUI.
When the "Update Display" button is hit.
