Artwork Conversion Software and Enlight Technology Partner to Bridge Massive Cross-Format Layout Data for Taiwan's Heterogeneous Integration Era

Artwork Conversion Software, Inc. ("Artwork"), a specialized layout-data software developer for semiconductor and PCB industries, and Enlight Technology Co., Ltd. ("Enlight Technology"), a Taiwan-based EDA and engineering solutions provider, today announced an authorized channel agreement under which Enlight Technology will represent Artwork in Taiwan and integrate Artwork's cross-format layout data engine into its solution stack for the local semiconductor, packaging, photomask, and PCB ecosystem. As heterogeneous integration and advanced packaging accelerate AI chips, chiplets, and silicon photonics, the collaboration enables Taiwan customers to process multi-format, multi-gigabyte layouts more efficiently and shorten tape-out-to-manufacturing cycles.

Since 1987, Artwork has focused on the data layer of semiconductor and PCB manufacturing, with a product portfolio spanning five domains: IC layout (GDSII and OASIS), advanced packaging (AIF, STEP 3D, SolidWorks), PCB (Gerber, ODB++, IPC-2581), mechanical CAD (AutoCAD and SolidWorks), and photomask preparation (MEBES, Micronic, and raster). The collaboration tackles one of the most persistent data-handoff challenges of the heterogeneous integration era. As layout data moves from design into mask preparation, DFM validation, thermal and electromagnetic simulation, and manufacturing execution, transitions between tools and file formats often become bottlenecks for both efficiency and yield. Artwork's capabilities in high-speed viewing of GDSII and OASIS databases, cross-format translation, and 2D-to-3D modeling via STEP and SolidWorks will be embedded into Enlight Technology's EDA and manufacturing workflows, enabling layout data to move seamlessly across tools, formats, and production stages and accelerating the path from design to volume manufacturing.
