1.05 (BETA) [09/01/2000]Finding Nets Using TextAdded the ability to search for label entities when using text option to identify net names under pad openings.
1.04 (BETA) [08/30/2000]Identify Nets Using TextPrevious versions depended on finding a "Pin" under the pad opening and then using the database to associate a netname with the pin. However tests have shown that some designers do not build their database in this fashion and program was failing to find the net name. Added a function that would search for a string of text on a separate layer; if a string is found under the pad opening it is used for the net name. Die pad numbers can also be picked up in this fashion.
1.03 (BETA) [08/05/2000]Bug FixFixed a bug that crashed WriteDie when pads had no transformations. Initially it appeared that the transformation information was required; sample files showed that this is not the case.
Fixed "State" Memory
Mosaic Support
1.02 (BETA) [08/04/2000]Updated Pad Extraction AlgorithmFeedback from test sites showed that the initial model, which depended on internal database relationships, was not sufficient to extract the data needed. The original assumptions were that the internal database was completely defined and consistent and that one could derive pad sizes and shapes from the relationship between terminals, pins, and figures. The engines were completely rewritten not to depend on these relationship but rather to first analyze the pad opening layer to determine the shapes and locations of the pads. Using the pad locations we could then drill down into the database to find pins located under the pad openings and then find the net associated with that pin.
1.01 (BETA) [06/30/2000]Initial Release. |
