STIF

The STIF map format was created by ST Microelectronics. This map file is complete -- one has all the geometric parameters needed as well as the map data. The bin codes used in STIF are quite unusual as they are organized by the ASCII hex value. Many of the bin codes used the extended ASCII character set. This is defined in detail in the STIF documentation.
