Viking Wafer Map Format

We were provided this sample map file said to be a .vik wafer map. Further investigation showed it to be a binary file created by a company called Viking Semiconductor Equipement. Viking manufactured (among other things) KGD pick and place equipment in the 1990s.

It appears that some other companies in that field also adopted the Viking wafer map format. This includes Zevatech, ESEC and possibly Royce.

Structure of the File
