Importing AIF into Encore IC Package Designer

December 1, 2000

Avanti has updated the Encore IC Package Designer to support the direct importation of the AIF file format. This will import either the subset of AIF that describes the die pads and nets or the entire AIF II format which includes die, fingers, rings and a complete netlist.   The AIF function is available from the File | Import menu. In order to use this feature you will need to have installed Patch 1b or later or have installed the newer 2001.1 version. For more information contact Avanti's Encore technical support: susanr@avanticorp.com.
