Downloading ASM 580 Mentor to EGS Translator for Evaluation or Update Purposes

You can download the programs for evaluation or update. Download the appropriate version and then send us an email identifying yourself. We'll email you back the unzipping password and program activation codes. See the sample below:

UNIX Executables

The executable file name includes the platform info and version. Please make sure you pick up the correct binary for your machine.

The release contains both men2egs and egs2men. Each direction can be licensed individually if you are not going to purchase both directions.

The complete manual is available in Adobe's PDF format which can be viewed online and printed using the Adobe Acrobat Reader version 3.0.

You can get the Acrobat Reader free from Adobe's site. for a variety of platforms including Windows, Sun, HP, IBM, SGI etc...

Unzipping

The release is zipped using a shareware version of unzip that supports passwords. If your version of unzip does not support passwords please download the one available below:
zip_sunos.tar [500 kbytes]


zip_hp700.tar [375 kbytes]


zip_solaris.tar [389 kbytes]


zip_aix.tar [259 kbytes]



untar it into your /usr/local/bin or somewhere in your PATH. Once installed in your PATH you can simply use it by typing: 
$ unzip men2egs.sunos.v120.zip [enter]
        enter password: ********* [enter]
This program is compatible with PKZIP compression used on PCs.
