Downloading GDS2CIF and CIF2GDS for Unix
This page describes how to download the latest version of GDS2CIF and CIF2GDS for Unix SunOS, Solaris and HPUX from Artwork Conversion's Internet site. A full featured evaluation can only be run on Unix systems without a hardware key.

Unzipping on Unix

The release is zipped using a shareware version of unzip that supports passwords. If your version of unzip does not support passwords please download the one available below:

zip_sunos.tar
[504 kbytes]

zip_hp700.tar
[368 kbytes]

zip_solaris.tar
[380 kbytes]


untar it into your /usr/local/bin or somewhere in your PATH. Once installed in your PATH you can simply use it by typing:

unzip filename

This program is compatible with PKZIP compression used on PCs.
