MTOOLS Data Sheet and Specifications

 MTOOLs for both UNIX and Windows incorporates a completly new GUI that makes it very easy to use. We've also added support for RS274X and MDA Autoplot - two new extended versions of Gerber for the new generation of laser photoplotters.

RS274X Output
RS274X is a more sophisticated version of Gerber that includes:
  • embedded apertures
  • polygon area fill
  • paint and scratch
274X has become the new industry standard.
FIRE 9000
AutoPlot is a an advanced variation of Gerber that runs on the Cymbolic Science's FIRE 9000 family of photoplotters and includes support for:
  • Embedded apertures
  • Embedded units and format
  • Polygon area fill
  • Paint and Scratch
MTOOLs 3 also supports the Fire 9000's POIN internal polygon-you can use clear polygons they will plot correctly.
Improved Area Fill
For those of you who still need stroked area fills, we've improved our fill routines significantly
  • smaller overall file size
  • better fill of tight areas.
